One Penny Black Review:196 Hunter Street Newcastle, NSW

One Penny Black is a small, cosy cafe with extended outdoor seating. I only had the experience of trying a coffee from there, but never the less it was exceptional! They also cater for your sweet-tooth cravings, by including a range of cakes, bagels and pastries. The chefs cook seasonal food as well. The staff are nice and I enjoyed the vintage looking inspired art and the layout of the cafe, with their little flower pots and high-stools to sit on. I would recommend going here. A few doors down there is a bookshop named, The Book Grocer and I would also recommend going there. There are vintage classics and books which are only a few years old, only for $10. So buy a book and grab a coffee and trust me, its just a little taste of paradise.
